COVID-19: Churches across India remain closed on Easter Sunday

Lucknow, Kochi (Kerala), Kottayam (Kerala) Apr 12 (ANI): Easter Sunday, major Christian festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm; however, COVID-19 and lockdown played a spoilsport this year. St Joseph's Cathedral in Lucknow had no visitors. Priest in Kochi offered prayers without attendance. Prayers are being live-streamed on social media for devotees in Kottayam. Easter Sunday commemorates resurrection of Jesus Christ couple of days after Good Friday.
