COVID-19: Ludhiana Police set up temporary jails to lodge curfew violators

Ludhiana (Punjab), Apr 01 (ANI): To keep a check on curfew violators amid coronavirus lockdown, Ludhiana Police has set up four temporary jails to lodge curfew violators in Ludhiana. "Yesterday, we sent 200 people to these jails and released them in the evening after they gave written apologies," said Police Commissioner of Ludhiana Rakesh Agrawal. Almost 6000 people can be lodged in these jails. Police said it will take strict action against the regular violators.
