Devotees queue up at Srinagar temple to offer prayers on Maha Shivratri

Srinagar (J and K), Feb 21 (ANI): Devotees lined up to offer prayers at Sri Shankaracharya Temple in Srinagar, on the day of Maha Shivratri. Locals also performed 'havan' on the day. Army personnel were also seen offering prayers on the day. Maha Shivratri celebrates grand marriage of Lord Shiva with goddess Parvati. Festival is celebrated nationwide with great fervour.
