Germany delegation successfully evacuated from India amid lockdown

German nationals arrived at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport to take a special flight for Germany on March 26. The Germany delegation underwent security checks at IGI Airport. German nationals were stranded in India due to the lockdown. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day lockdown in the entire country effective from midnight to deal with the spread of coronavirus on March 24, saying that social distancing is the only option to deal with the disease, which spreads rapidly.
