New Delhi, May 06 (ANI): Amid the Lok Sabha elections, while speaking to ANI in the national capital today, Union Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Prakash Javadekar said, "Our candidate from West Bengal's Barrackpore Arjun Singh was beaten up brutally and he is injured now and last week car of our Asansol candidate Babul Supriyo was badly damaged as violence is at its peak in WB. The Election Commission (EC) is sitting mutely and almost doing nothing." "WB Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is defeating in election, therefore, she is trying to win polls through rigging rather than votes. It is almost like dishonouring our Indian democracy as she is threatening EC in WB," Javadekar added.
