Retired IPS officer's daughter commits suicide in Patna

Patna (Bihar), Dec 09 (ANI): After daughter of a retired Inspector General of Police (IGP) allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the terrace of a building in Patna on Sunday morning Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Patna, Manu Maharaj said, "Prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide and we have recovered a mobile. Victim's family is in a state of shock, so we haven't questioned them yet, no suicide note has been found". "Further investigation in this case is underway and a team of forensic experts (SFL) came here to probe the entire matter", he added. "This incident took place around 8:00 am and we have sent the dead body for postmortem", he further stated.
