Two arrested in Bengaluru rape case

Bengaluru, Nov 06 (ANI): Police in Bengaluru on Friday announced the arrest of two persons in the rape of a 19-year-old girl, who was sexually assaulted in a moving bus. Arun Chakravarthy, Inspector-General of Police of Bengaluru city, said both the driver and his helper have been arrested. The victim alleged the perpetrators dumped her in an isolated area after raping her on Thursday. The victim has been hospitalised. Meanwhile, Karnataka Home Minister G Parmeshwar, held a high-level meeting with top police officials to review the situation.
