DU professor booked for Chhattisgarh tribal's murder

New York, Nov 08 (ANI): Delhi University professor Nandini Sundar and 10 others were booked for the murder of a tribal in the Chhattisgarh's Sukma district on Tuesday. Refuting the murder charge against her, Sundar described the FIR registered against her as absurd and is a state police vendetta against the researchers, journalists, lawyers and activists. The professor alleged that she had not been to Sukma for months, and added that she would take up the matter legally.
