PM Modi arrives in Tokyo

Tokyo, Aug 31 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, arrived in Tokyo on Sunday. Modi, arrived in Japan on Saturday seeking to capitalize on his affinity with his Japanese counterpart, Shinzo Abe, to strengthen security and business ties on his first major foreign visit since his landslide election victory in May. Modi is one of only three people that Abe follows on Twitter, while the Indian leader admires the Japanese premier's brand of nationalist politics. Modi listed manufacturing, infrastructure and energy as key areas for cooperation. In his previous role as the chief minister of Gujarat, Modi had actively courted Japanese investment. Earlier, on Sunday Modi visited the cutting edge stem cell research lab in Kyoto University, during the second day of his visit.
