Resolve our issues before holding polls, say Madhesi parties

Kathmandu (Nepal) Feb,18 (ANI): The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has asked the Nepal government to make amendments in the Constitution before announcing dates for local elections. Prachanda government is making attempts to appease the disgruntled Madhesh-based parties. However, the UDMF has hinted out to protest if their demands are not met. The government is under pressure from the Opposition as well as Election Commission to announce the date for election by February 19.
