Pursuant to Reg. 30 of the SEBI (LODR) 2015 we wish to inform you that MoF has appointed the following director w.e.f. 24.04.2023 on the board of The New India Assurance Company Ltd.: Ms. Smita Srivastava MD & CEO of Health Insurance TPA of India Limited as General Manager & Director vide Order No. F. No. A- 11011/08/2022-Ins.I dated 17th April 2023Brief Profile of Ms. Srivastava: -Ms. Srivastava served as the MD & CEO of HITPA. She is a Graduate and AIII from Insurance Institute of India and is having more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.In accordance with provisions of theCompanies Act 2013 they are not related to any other Director on the Board . As per the requirement of the circulars dated 20th June 2018 issued by the exchanges on the subject of enforcement of SEBI Orders regarding appointment of Directors by listed companies we hereby affirm that the above Director is not debarred from holding the office by virtue of any order of the authorities.
