Approval Of Reserve Bank Of India For Appointment Of Mr. Harun Rasid Khan As Part Time Chairman Of The Bank

We wish to inform you that the RBI vide its letter dated November 24 2023 has approved the appointment of Mr. Harun Rasid Khan (Mr. H. R. Khan) as Part Time Chairman of the Bank in terms of Section 10B(1A)(i) of the Banking Regulation Act 1949 w.e.f. January 30 2024 till completion of his 1st tenure as Independent Director of the Bank i.e. December 27 2024.Mr. H. R. Khan is associated with the Bank as an Independent Director since December 28 2021 and he will assume the position of Part Time Chairman upon completion of tenure of current Part Time Chairman viz. Mr. Raj Vikash Verma on January 29 2024. In this regard a meeting of the Board of Directors will be convened in due course inter-alia to recommend to the shareholders for appointment of Mr. H. R. Khan as the Part Time Chairman of the Bank.Please refer attached disclosure for details.
