Asset mobilisation by way of new fund offers (NFOs) in the equity segment has hit a nine-year high. India's burgeoning fund industry collected nearly Rs 16,700 crore - highest since the 2008 Global Financial Crisis.A total of 52 new equity schemes are launched by several fund houses thus far in 2017, majority of them are close-ended in nature.
