On Gujarat visit, Rahul rakes up Jay Amit Shah's case

Raking up the issue of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah's son Jay Shah's business soaring under the incumbent government, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Monday alleged crony capitalism in the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government.On his second visit to the poll-bound Gujarat in a month, Gandhi said that when it came to helping the ruling party was helping only a handful of industrialists. "When Amit Shah's son's company had nothing for 10-12 years, how come he started earning only after 2014? How did his business jump to Rs 80 crore from Rs 50000 within few months? This is the 'Make in India'," Gandhi said in a public address.After visiting the Saurashtra region in his first visit, Rahul Gandhi is now on a three-day tour of Central Gujarat where on Monday he met farmers, small businessmen and traders in areas like Kheda, Nadiad and Vadodara.
