Representatives from the department of economic affairs, coal ministry, steel ministry, oil ministry and department of pharmaceuticals are expected to attend the meeting
Prabhu says the corridor will deliver "unimaginable benefits" in terms of cutting down the time and cost of transportation for all the countries involved
When asked about the current situation at Jet Airways, Prabhu said, "We are not aware about their position."
He said that OECD countries were giving more subsidies to their farmers, particularly in the export of agriculture products
A strategy of products in new markets is being developed and exports are also being promoted in regions like Africa, Latin America and Central Asia, says Prabhu
Airbus, at present, has more than 300 aircrafts flying in the Indian skies and another 530 have been ordered by Indian carriers
The country also expressed its disappointment over the US imposition of high import duties on certain steel and aluminium products
Suresh Prabhu said such cooperation will offer great business opportunities to American companies already present in the country.
