Hyderabad, 9 March: In a major embarrassment to the debt-laden GVK Group, public sector Syndicate Bank has put up 2,500-acre GVK Perambalur SEZ Private Limited in Tamil Nadu for sale through e-auction by invoking Sarfaesi Act, 2002, to recover Rs 175 crore debt from the company.This is the second time that the bank's Corporate Finance Branch in Hyderabad has issued a notice for e-auction of the 2,500 acres of SEZ land as no bidders had responded to the first auction notice dated January 6, 2017.
