PM Modi to flag off padyatra from Sabarmati to Dandi today

New Delhi, Mar 12 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off a padyatra from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi on March 12, ahead of 75th anniversary of India's independence in 2022, informed Union Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel. "The Padyatra to be flagged off (today) by Prime Minister will cover a journey of 241 miles from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad to Dandi in Navsari and will end on 5th April lasting for 25 days. I will lead the first lap of 75 km," said Patel.

Around 70 fall sick after allegedly eating Maha Shivratri 'prasad' in Rajasthan

Dungarpur (Rajasthan), Mar 12 (ANI): Several people fell sick after allegedly eating Maha Shivratri 'prasad' in Rajasthan's Dungarpur district on March 11. As per the information, it appears to be a case of food poisoning. The teams of 3-4 hospitals are working in this regard. While speaking to media, the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO)/ Health Official of Aspur said, "60-70 people are sick, tally is likely to increase. It appears to be a case of food poisoning. We are collecting samples. 3-4 hospitals' teams are working."

She's responding well to treatment, improvement in her health condition. However, she still have symptoms related to bone injuries of her left ankle for which she continues to receive treatment." 150 NSG commandos inoculated against COVID-19

Director Dr Manimoy Bandopadhya said, "On her arrival, she got immediately admitted and was examined by senior doctors. Initial examination suggests severe bony injuries in her left ankle, foot and bruises, injuries in right shoulder, forearm and neck. CM complained of chest pain, breathlessness since the incident. She is kept under close watch for 48 hours. Honourable CM is presently traumatized and is under close observation."
