Hyderabad (Telangana), May 13 (ANI): As the Mumbai Indians took home the IPL trophy by beating the Chennai Super Kings with one run in a nail biter match, the latter's head coach Stephen Fleming said he was hoping a six from batsman Shane Watson, who played an 80-run innings, in the last over of the match when the team needed nine runs from the last six deliveries. Fleming also praised MI pacer Lasith Malinga for overcoming his costly penultimate over in the match and delivering his team under pressure. Mumbai Indians, batting first, scored an average 149 runs from its 20 overs but successfully managed to restrict CSK to 148 runs, and won the IPL trophy for the fourth time.
Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh), May 10 (ANI): Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma on Thursday offered prayers at the Venketeswara Temple in Tirumala ahead of the IPL final which is scheduled to be played on May 12. Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Karthik was also seen offering prayers at the temple. Contender against the MI will be decided in tomorrow's qualifier match that will be played between the Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals.

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), May 09 (ANI): As the Sunrisers Hyderabad lost the eliminator match to the Delhi Capitals in the last over, the former's captain Kane Williamson expressed his disappointment over losing the match in the last over and said it is 'frustrating' when the 'margin is so small'. Chennai, May 08 (ANI): After beating Chennai Super Kings to reach the finals of this year's IPL, Mumbai Indians' all-rounder Jayant Yadav said, beating CSK on any ground is a 'great feeling' as he believed that the MS Dhoni-led squad is a great team. Batting second, MI chased the low scoring total of 131 in 18.3 overs by six wickets. CSK will now face the winner of the eliminator match that will be played between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
