Guwahati (Assam), Mar 03 (ANI): T20 international matches between India and England women cricket team is to be played at ACA stadium at Barsapara. The team was seen practicing at the stadium in Guwahati. The English team, who are touring India, will play the three match T20I series on March 04, 07 and 09 here. Both the team looks forward to build towards the next T20 World Cup to be held in Australia and New Zealand.

Indian team believe in process more than result: Kedar Jadhav after beating Australia in 1st ODI at Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Mar 02 (ANI): India reached the target of 237 in 48.2 overs, riding on a 141-run unconquered stand between Kedar Jadhav's 81* and Mahendra Singh Dhoni's 59, to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match ODI series. This match was held at Hyderabad today. While addressing the post match press conference, middle-order batsman of the Indian cricket team Kedar Jadhav said, "Every victory is very valuable and it adds confidence in you and your team. It tells how the team is progressing overall. We as a team have always believed in process more than the result." "It's good to be playing consistently for India and doing well. Captain and team management have always shown faith in me which boosts your confidence level," he added. India had lost the two preceding T20 Internationals.

Not easy to score on sluggish wickets: Jasprit Bumrah after Australia beat India in 1st T20I

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Feb 25 (ANI): The Australian cricket team won by three wickets and took 1-0 lead in two-match T20I series on Sunday. Fast bowler of Indian cricket team Jasprit Bumrah became the second Indian player to breach the 50-wicket mark in the T20I format. Ravichandran Ashwin was the first Indian to reach this mark. He achieved the milestone during the 1st T20I against Australia in Visakhapatnam when he dismissed Peter Handscomb in the 19th over of Australia's innings. While addressing the post match press conference in Visakhapatnam, India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah said, "I was just focusing on what my strengths are and what the wicket is because the wicket was little difficult to bat on. It is not easy to score on such sluggish wickets. I was figuring out my options what I should do and I was trying to execute that".

New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar flagged off New Delhi Marathon at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday. Thousands of people thronged the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to participate in the IDBI Federal Life Insurance New Delhi Marathon. The marathon is being organised in four categories- 42.195 km long full marathon, 21.095 km long half marathon, timed 10 km run and 5 km long Swacch Bharat Run. Sachin also performed push-ups as a part of an initiative through which money will be donated to 'Bharat Ke Veer' contribution platform.

Tonk (Rajasthan), Feb 23 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally in Rajasthan's Tonk on Saturday. He paid tribute to the CRPF personnel who lost their lives in Pulwama terror attack. Remarking that the whole world is supporting India in this hour of difficulty, he said, "I'm proud of our jawans who within 100 hours sent the perpetrators of the attack on their comrades, to the place where they belong." Clearing his stand on terrorism he added, "Our fight is against terrorism and enemies of humanity. Our fight is for Kashmir not against Kashmir, not against Kashmiris. What happened to Kashmiri students in last few days, such things should not happen in this country."

Often described as 'Yoga on Pole', Mallakhamb is an indigenous sport originated in Maharashtra. Mallakhamb sport requires a lot of discipline and gymnast like skill set. CCI covers Pakistan PM's photo at headquarter in Mumbai

Mumbai, Feb 17 (ANI): Cricket Club of India (CCI) covered Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's photo at CCI headquarter in wake of Pulwama terror attack. CCI Secretary Suresh Bafna said, "We called a meeting on the very next day of the attack and to condemn the attack, we decided to cover the photo. We will be deciding soon how to remove the photo." Pakistan PM Imran Khan's portrait was one of those that adorned the prestigious club's restaurant wall for leading the Pakistani team to 1992 World Cup victory.
