COP30 summit: 21 injured after fire disrupts talks in Brazil

A major fire at the COP30 UN Climate Summit venue in Belem, Brazil, forced thousands to evacuate and temporarily halted critical climate negotiations. Twenty-one people received medical care, including those with smoke inhalation, and the Blue Zone, home to high-level talks and country pavilions, was shut for more than six hours.
