1 killed, 5 injured during explosion in UP

One worker was killed and five others injured during an explosion in a mine in Chopan area, police said here today.

Kailash (40) was killed in the explosion in stone mine in Dala area last evening, they said.

The injured were rushed to the district hospital from where three of them were referred to Varanasi in a serious condition, police said.
