In April 2001, Sanjiv Goenka took over as the youngest-ever President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He was also the president of All India Management Institute (AIMA), and a member of the Prime Minister&rsquo;s Council on Trade &amp; Industry.</div>

	The group&#39;s businesses include power and energy, carbon black manufacturing, retail, IT-enabled services, FMCG, media and entertainment, and agriculture, and has over 44,000 employees.</div>

Goenka owns a majority stake in football team ATK and had the two-year franchise for the Indian Premier League cricket team Rising Pune Supergiants. In 2021, the RPSG Group was the winner for the Lucknow IPL franchise worth Rs 7,090 crore.</div>
