Founder of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Lalit Modi, has recently announced the successor of his business. The former IPL chairman has named his son Ruchir Modi as his successor beneficiary from his family's side in the K K Modi Family Trust with immediate effect.
In a social media post, the fugitive Indian businessman has also announced Ruchir as the head of his branch of the family. Aged 28, Ruchir Modi, is one of the children of Lalit Modi and Minal Sangrani. Ruchir has a younger sister named Aliya and also a step-sister from his mother's first marriage. Ruchir and Aliya lost their mother, Minal Sangrani, to cancer in 2018.
Ruchir pursued his studies in Mumbai and London. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Global Business Management from Regent University in London.
