Jaipur jewellery show

The Pink City is ready to host the Jaipur Jewellery Show 2005, to be held from December 23 to 26 at Rajmahal Palace. The show will be the third in the series. The first of the shows was held in December 2003.

"It was a modest attempt by the city's gem & jewellery fraternity," said Rashmikant Durlabhji, the convenor of the organising committee.

"The response has wonderful. From 60-odd stalls in 2003, within two years, the show has grown to 275 stalls this year," said Durlabhji.
