All India Management Association (AIMA), the apex body of professional management in the country and Business India will be jointly conducting a comprehensive survey and rating of business schools this year.
The survey is expected to be released by September or early-October this year so as to help students make an informed choice of business school.
A committee of noted academicians has been set up to decide on the weightage and parameters for rating. It is believed that this years survey will be taking into account new parameters and benchmarks for rating.

The survey will be conducted through a questionnaire followed by team visits by AIMA and Business India. Last year the AIMA-BI survey had covered 380 b-schools.
The schools to be included in the survey will have to be at least three years old.
