This was decided at a nine-hour meeting among the chairmen of the admission committees of the six IIMs.
Briefing reporters, the admission committee members said the candidates would not have to pay the examination fee again, but might be issued fresh admit cards. The place of printing the question papers for the retest will also be decided tomorrow.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has meanwhile given a clean chit to IIM officials involved in the test process.
