| Speaking on the occasion, C S Rao, chairman of the Insurance Regulator and Development Authority (Irda), said: "Apart from teaching the techniques of salesmanship, what is more important today is to enlighten a salesman about the insurance sector, its regulations and practices." |

| Deepak Kumar, regional manager of Boston Group, said that though the company initially offers the course to institutional subscribers, it would be extended to individuals and freshers shortly. |

| The fee for the course has not yet been decided, he added. The certificate for the course that can be completed within 4-5 days will be issued jointly by CIFP and IIIF. |
