| A company release said that the company plans to strengthen its operations in India with new product range. It stated that it has been reporting a compounded annual growth rate of over 70 per cent in the last two years. |

| "Our initiative over the last 2-3 years, including the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation project, has yielded satisfactory results and we are now considering sourcing components and some finished products from India in a big way," Didier Forget, global chief executive officer, Flaktwoods, said in the statement. |

| The company has embarked upon a programme of product upgradation to invest further in its manufacturing units in Chennai and Kolkata. Flakt India Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Flaktwoods, has been present in India over the last five decades. |
