Hager Group acquires Elcom

Pune-based family-owned company Hager Group, a supplier of systems, solutions and services for electrical installations, said it had acquired Elcom International, a German company that deals in video door-phone domain, for an undisclosed amount.

With this acquisition, Hager Group also acquired over 51 per cent stake in Elcom Door-Communications (I) Pvt Ltd, an Elcom joint venture, in India, and is now a close partner of Elcom Door-Communications Pvt Ltd

With this acquisition, the company said, it would strengthen its activities in the Brazil, India and China.
