IGL appoints Rajesh Chaturvedi as commercial director

Chaturvedi, brings to IGL a rich and diverse experience spanning over 32 years in retail, aviation and lubricants businesses

Rajesh Chaturvedi has taken over as Director (Commercial) of Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), the sole supplier of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped cooking gas in national capital.

"Chaturvedi, brings to IGL a rich and diverse experience spanning over 32 years in retail, aviation and lubricants businesses apart from human resource development gained during his service in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL)," IGL said in a statement here.

He was General Manager (Retail-Sales) in BPCL at Noida before joining the current assignment and is a post graduate in mathematics and history besides possessing a diploma in Personnel and IR.

Chaturvedi has taken over the position of Director (Commercial) from Manmohan Singh, who has gone back to his parent organisation, BPCL as Executive Director (Engineering Services Marketing).

IGL is a joint venture company of GAIL (India) Ltd and BPCL along with Government of Delhi.
