Manipal University and BoB launch banking school

Manipal University and Bank of Baroda have launched Baroda Manipal School of Banking and inaugurated its new campus located in Bangalore.

The school is a fully residential campus offering a one-year full time programme on various areas of banking and management disciplines. Students will be awarded a post graduate diploma in banking and finance by Manipal University.

"A corporate university setup, Baroda Manipal School of Banking will address the need for quality training of prospective employees at Bank of Baroda before being absorbed as probationary officers at the bank. The crux of this industry-academia partnership is to help create an employable workforce," the university said in a press statement. 

Baroda Manipal School of Banking is a fully residential campus offering a one-year full time program on various areas of Banking and Management disciplines. The programme includes nine months of intensive campus training and three-month internship at a branch of Bank of Baroda. On completion of the training, students will be absorbed as probationary officers at the bank.
