| MPP is a sister concern of TTP Technologies Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of Power Transformer Radiators, used in power generation and distribution. Both these companies together presently have a combined turnover of Rs 200 crore, company sources said. |

| According to them, the plant has an installed capacity of 15,000 tanks per annum, of which Crompton Greaves will purchase about 25 per cent annually. The company's other clients include Voltas, Alfa Transformers, Areva and Vijay Electricals. |

| With full capacity operations of MPP's new plant and the proposed expansion in TTP presently under implementation, the companies have set a turnover target of Rs 500 crore by 2010, a company press release said. |

| MPP also manufactures a whole range of control panels, especially for drives and electronics for ABB Bangalore, Marshalling kiosks ô RTCC panels for Crompton Greaves and Siemens, and high current Aluminum rectifier cubicles. |

| Such corrugated tanks are ideal for transformers in the middle to lower capacity distribution transformers, of upto 5 MVA, the company release said. The company plans to export these tanks to its customers from Bangalore. |
