Nagarjuna Construction's Q4 net jumps three-folds to Rs 102 cr

Nagarjuna Construction Company today said its net profit jumped nearly three-folds to Rs 102.61 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, over the same period last year.

Total income rose to Rs 1,522.71 crore in the January-March quarter from Rs 1,098 crore in the same period previous fiscal, Nagarjuna Construction said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The board has proposed a dividend of Rs 1.30 per share for the year ended 2009-10.

For the year ended March, the company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 286 crore, up 54.59 per cent, over the same year-ago period.

Shares of Nagarjuna Construction Company today closed at Rs 154.85 on the BSE, down 2.18 per cent from the previous close.
