The BJP on Tuesday demanded the resignation of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and health minister Satyendar Jain, who was arrested by the ED in connection with a money laundering case, alleging that the AAP chief's stand on the issue shows that he not only condones corruption but is also involved in it.
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia also rejected the Aam Aadmi Party's allegation of "political vendetta" and that Jain's arrest was linked to upcoming polls in Himachal Pradesh. No court has quashed any proceedings of central agencies in a corruption case, he asserted.

Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) on Tuesday said it has supplied 155 metric tonnes of steel to Indian Railways for its stainless steel foot-over-bridge project in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh.
According to the company, the said infrastructure is the second stainless steel (SS) foot-over-bridge (FOB) in India after Naupada FOB in Andhra Pradesh.

Nepali Army is preparing to bring 12 bodies to Kathmandu on Tuesday after the mortal remains of all the 22 victims were recovered from the Tara aeroplane crash site that took place in the Mustang district of Nepal on Sunday morning.
Notably, two bodies have been brought to the base station in Khabang-Mustang today while black box has also been recovered from the crash site.

Miscreants on Monday threw ink on Tikait during an event organised by a farmers' organisation at Gandhi Bhavan in the Karnataka capital following which three people were arrested.
