1,800 petrol pumps in Maharashtra on strike today

| Shinde said 14 company-owned-company-operated pumps in the city are not participating in the strike. |
| Petrol pump associations under the aegis of Federation of All India Petroleum Traders (FAIPT) are also demanding uniform pricing of petroleum products all over the country and quality checking equipment at petrol pumps to enable monitoring the quality of products delivered by oil companies at the pumps. |
| A report from Nasik said all pumps in the city and north Maharashtra were remained closed as part of the strike. |
| In Nagpur, spokesman of umbrella organisation Nagpur-Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce said that about 150 fuel pumps in city and about 75 on the outskirts are closed. |
| Reports from Vidarbha region also said the petrol pumps remained closed. |
