EFC clears proposals for 374 colleges

The process of setting up of seven Indian Institute of Management (IIMs), 374 degree colleges and 10 National Institute of Technology (NITs) has been set in motion with the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) approving the proposals in this regard.

The proposals approved by the EFC yesterday will now be sent to the Cabinet for approval, sources in the HRD ministry said.
