While Narendra Modi is yet to get a clear mandate to become Chief Minister of Gujarat for the third time, he has stormed the twitter world.
The top four hash tags trending on Twitter were related to the elections, Modi and BJP. The most popular hash tag that has been trending is Gujarat Elections, followed by BJP wins in Maninagar.
Twitter, had set up an event page for Gujarat Elections. According to a report filed by MediaNama, the Gujarat Election event page on Twitter includes curated content in real time by Twitter’s team and tweets that include the hashtag #GujaratElections. The page also picks up any photos related to the election.
Modi also kept up with his tweets on the micro-blogging site. “No need of looking behind ...FORWARD...We want infinite energy, infinite courage, infinite patience..." Modi said on the microblogging site Twitter.
