| He further said HCC commenced work on the project in January 2005 and was scheduled to complete the job in September 2009. |
| The project is at a considerably advanced stage at various site locations and expected to be completed much before the scheduled time. |
| The company has built several landmark projects in India's hydro-power and water resources sector, with at least ten of them situated in the geologically challenged Himalayan region. |
