Horticulture growers will come together at a four-day meet in Lucknow from June 16 to discuss their problems with scientists and policy makers.

"Horticulture Summit 2007, which starts from June 16, shall provide a platform for interaction among scientists, government representatives and growers," said SS Mehta, secretary of the Confederation of Indian Horticulture, which is organising the summit.

Input suppliers and bankers would be there to meet the growers, he added. Lucknow-based Central Institute Subtropical Horticulture will organise a mango exhibition during the main summit.

The horticulture growers would discuss opportunities of growth and challenges of climate change, Mehta added.
