The General Council of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) is likely to meet in the third week of July to consider the framework on agriculture.

The three-day meet may also turn into a kind of a 'mini-ministerial' with key trade ministers, including those from India, Brazil, the US and EU, expected to participate.

The framework is expected to be readied by June, which will be a skeletal arrangement carved out from the drafts that were earlier presented by US-EU and the G20.
