Zensar in MoU with Chinese province

| The MoU is a framework for cooperation whereby Zensar will set up a centre of excellence (CoE) on the campuses of academic institutions to train students with innovative tools and techniques in the IT and BPO industry. |
| The company plans to extend this programme to 33 colleges in the Hubei Province and train a total of 1,00,000 students over the next three years. |
| NXP funds research in India |
| NXP Semiconductors has signed an agreement with IIT-Delhi to fund research activities in India. NXP and IIT-Bombay are also working towards a formal agreement, after which the company will become a member of the very large-scale integration (VLSI) research consortium at IIT-Bombay. |
| Under its existing academic relations programme, NXP Semiconductors will spend $1.5 million over a period of five years. This will be used for building a potential talent and research pool for the emerging semiconductor market in India. |
| The fund will be used to carry out research programmes for industry-specific technologies and applications like mobile communications, connectivity and automotive electronics. NXP also plans to set up a digital media lab in a technical institute in approximately six months. |
| Accel Frontline Ltd, JNU tie up |
| Chennai-based Accel Frontline Ltd, an IT services company, has announced the signing of a partnership agreement with Jawaharlal Nehru University to develop software-based solutions and applications for the latter's e-governance cell. |
| The cell will involve digitisation of all the processes and procedures related to administration and admission. |
