Mohit Kamboj is the new Bombay Bullion Association president

Kamboj, 29, became the youngest president of the BBA, the apex association of bullion traders

The board of directors of the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) has appointed Mohit Kamboj, chairman and managing director, KBJ Mohit Kamboj Group of Companies, as the president of BBA for the period 2012-14. Kamboj succeeded Prithviraj Kothari, MD, Riddisiddhi Bullions Ltd as the new BBA president.

According to the media statement issued by the BBA, Kamboj, 29, became the youngest president of the BBA, the apex association of bullion traders. Kamboj was elected unopposed by 15 elected directors of BBA.

Recently Kamboj was awarded the title of 'Dynamic Personality in Gold Industry 2012' at the 9th International Gold Convention 2012 in Hyderabad. He has also been awarded with the Uttarbhartiya Mumbai Award, the statement said.

As a group, KBJ has expanded its business interests in bullion and jewellery, real estate, hospitality and entertainment.
