The Sensex continues to rise and is now up  472 points at  15,572 on the back of strong global cues.

The BSE Capital Goods and the Consumer Durables are up over 3.5% each.

Wipro and HDFC Bank have zoomed over 5.6% to Rs 448 and Rs 1,1495, respectively.

Tata Power and Larsen & Toubro have added around 5% each to Rs 1,200 and Rs 1,650, respectively.

Reliance Infrastrutures and Sterlite have gained 4.5% each at Rs 1,203 and Rs 684, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever, ONGC, ACC, Ranbaxy, Grasim and Bharti Airtel have advanced 3% each.

The market breadth is slightly positive, out of 2,741 shares traded, 1,372 have advanced and 1,298 have declined.
