| Nickel traded at a five-week low on the LME and copper too witnessed losses throughout the week, after reaching a six-week high last week. |
| The price of nickel cathodes closed at Rs 755.00 per kilogram, down from last Monday's close of Rs 770.00. |
| Copper wire bars closed at Rs 179 from last weeks Rs 184. Copper heavy scraps on the contrary closed higher at Rs 161 from last week's Rs 159, due to domestic demand. |
| Copper utensil scraps ended trade at Rs 140 from Rs 141 last week. The price rose to Rs 142 on Tuesday but fell back to Rs 141 on Thursday. |
| Brass utensil scraps closed at Rs 108 a minor drop from Rs 110. Brass sheet cutting closed at Rs 113 down by Rs 2 from last week. |
| Aluminium utensil scraps ended flat at Rs 83 from last week. The price rose to Rs 86 briefly on Wednesday before dropping again. The price of lead ingots remained steady as well at Rs 50. |
| The price of aluminium ingots closed at Rs 105 the same as last week. Zinc slabs closed at Rs 69.50 from last week's Rs 71. It declined by 50 paise last Tuesday and further to Rs 69.50 on Thursday. |
| Tin slab prices were volatile and closed at Rs 515, up from Rs 508 last week. Prices rose to Rs 515 on Wednesday and further to Rs 518 on Thursday before falling to Rs 510 on Friday. |
