Sensex down 149pts; Rel Energy sheds 5%
The NSE Nifty is down 48 points at 5,144.
Reliance Energy has slumped nearly 5% to Rs 1,443. Bharti Airtel and DLF have plunged over 4.5% each to Rs 853 and Rs 672, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates has shed 3.4% at Rs 277. ACC and Maruti have dropped 2.4% each to Rs 740 and Rs 766, respectively.
Infosys and Mahindra & Mahindra have slipped around 2% each to Rs 1,751 and Rs 665, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Wipro and Grasim have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 3,087, Rs 483 and Rs 2,352, respectively.
Reliance Communications, SBI and TCS are down over 1% each to Rs 548, Rs 1,760 and Rs 915, respectively.
ITC has surged 2% to Rs 225. Tata Steel and Hindustan Unilever have gained over 1.5% each at Rs 815 and Rs 252, respectively.
Out of 2,677 stocks traded so far, 1,574 have declined, 1,025 have advanced and 78 are unchanged.
