Sensex flat; Rel Energy, JP Associates firm
The NSE Nifty is down six points at 5,222.
Reliance Energy and Jaiprakash (JP) Associates have surged around 2% each to Rs 1,555 and Rs 292, respectively.
Tata Steel has advanced 1.3% to Rs 807. Larsen & Toubro and Grasim are up 1% each at Rs 3,175 and Rs 2,390, respectively.
Hindalco has shed 2.3% to Rs 182. TCS has dropped 2% to Rs 922.

Wipro has slipped 1.7% to Rs 494, and SBI has declined 1.5% to Rs 1,795.
Tata Motors, NTPC and Mahindra & Mahindra are down 1.3% each at Rs 681, Rs 198 and Rs 682, respectively.
Out of 2,695 stocks traded, 2,105 have advanced, 549 have declined and 41 are unchanged.
