The Mercedes-AMG C63 S will be powered by a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine that produces 503bhp of power and 700Nm of maximum torque. The C63 S will be competing with the BMW M3 that was launched a while ago. This is the first AMG sedan for India to have the 4.0-litre V8 engine. The 5.5-litre V8 are being replaced by this new-generation AMG engine. The C 63 AMG wll be priced at INR 1.4 crore (on-road).
The C63 S will be mated to a seven-speed DCT box and will coming to India as a CBU. It does a 0-100km/hr in about 4 seconds and will be getting a lot more features than the regular C-Class. It will have three driving modes, Comfort, Sport and the Sport+. It will also get driver's heads-up display too. The C-Class has been a major success for the Stuttgart-based manufacturer globally and now it is even assembled in India.
