At least 23 people were wounded after lava struck the roof of a tour boat in Hawaii.
"Hilo Medical Center confirmed13 passengers were treated at the hospital, and another 10 passengers with superficial injuries were treated on arrival at Wailoa Harbor," reported CNN.
According to the report, one woman was in serious condition with a fractured femur, while others suffered burns and gashes on their legs.
There were about 49 people found aboard a boat reportedly, however, the numbers are not confirmed.
The lava is from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano, which erupted in early May.
An investigation into the matter is underway.
