India have dropped to fourth place in the latest ICC Test team rankings after drawing the lone test against Bangladesh in Fatullah yesterday.
The Virat Kohli-led side began the match level with New Zealand at 99 points.
With match being disrupted by heavy rains, India did not have enough time to go for a victory, despite managing to force a follow-on on the hosts.
Meanwhile, Australia's vice-captain Steven Smith reached the top of the batsman's test rankings while Dale Steyn remained at the number one spot in the bowler's rankings.
