Allahabad High Court rules out validity of religion conversion for marriage

The Allahabad High Court said on Friday that religion conversion for the sake of marriage is not valid.

Lawyer Abhijit Mishra confirmed the report.

The court stated that religious conversion of girls "without their faith and belief in Islam" and "solely for the purpose of marriage" to Muslim boys is not valid.
